2023 Old Massoni Ranch Zinfandel
Tasting notes
Pale Ruby color and fragrance. With dark cherries and dried herbs flavors, this wine has a dusty and soft tannin typical of our region. The wine has a lively mouthfeel, complemented by a velvety, lingering finish.

93 pts James Suckling v.23
Light toast and mineral aromas followed by wild blackberry flavors bring this full-bodied wine quickly into focus. Rather firm, appetizing tannins add some heft to the mouthfeel, while black pepper, wild sage and mineral notes expand as you sip. Drink or hold.

Initially planted circa 1910, with some replantation post-prohibition, Old Massoni Ranch is one of California's historic vineyards, grown in well-drained, iron-rich, decomposed granitic soils. Andis is honored to make a single vineyard wine enhancing the true characteristics of an Old Vine Zinfandel.
