2020 ENOR Syrah, Grenache, Mourvedre
Tasting notes
Spending 18 months in (30% new) French oak, this blend of 40% Syrah, 35% Grenache, and 25% Mourvèdre results in a sumptuously textured red blend.
The winemaking team at Andis understands how Rhône varieties grown in the Sierra Foothills are especially expressive. It shows on the nose, offering a concentrated dark chocolate and plum aroma. Once again, white pepper makes its presence known, surging through dried violets and black plum. Grainy coffee-bean tannins and fennel root lead to a plush finish, luxurious and exciting.

93pts Editor's Choice - Wine Enthusiast
"Immediate aromas of black cherry, black currant, black plum and plum skins, dark chocolate, capsicum, and toasted wood waft right out of the glass. The palate of this wine offers a solid dose of acidity, chalk-like tannins, and notes of roses, violets, black pepper, and olive. It is an engaging, interesting, and downright tasty Rhône-style red." - Stacey Briscoe
